I would like to find Swedish Dicks funnier than I do because, the odd burst of tastelessness notwithstanding, it is fundamentally good-hearted and there is something to be said for a good heart in a wicked world.
None of them [the actors] are bad on it, but none of them offer a compelling enough reason to fit this into your schedule. [11 Aug 2017, p.51]
For every moment when Ingmar seems close to a breakthrough, Swedish Dicks burdens him with a conveniently timed call or some wacky physical humor that distract from the rest of the show.
