Best season yet which I didn't expect, most shows loose steam. Emotional scenes, great story lines, great characters.

I have zero complaint on how they managed this season,in fact i'm so surprised for their tremendous job to adapt so many stuff in short time.The cast,production everyone did such a great job.Its sad to see it end but i was more than happy on how they respected our favorite characters.… Expand

Last few episodes were good. And they killed off some characters I didn't like.

Very solid underrated show forgotten by woke critics. The casting of a black priest didn't help that much in that regard.
Yes, the romantic side plots are quite dumb and meant to attract a female audience, yes some of the character motivations didn't make a lot of sense after season 3, butVery solid underrated show forgotten by woke critics. The casting of a black priest didn't help that much in that regard.
Yes, the romantic side plots are quite dumb and meant to attract a female audience, yes some of the character motivations didn't make a lot of sense after season 3, but this show is far bigger than the sums of its parts:
First, it's always been a compelling metaphore about immigration to the British Isles...and it's especially relevant today.
Second, it's another compelling parallel on religion and "culture wars" and how those evolve or ....devolve.
Third, the fighting scenes and political plotlines are awesome.
Fourth , Uthred is seriously as charismatic as any lead on film and the metaphore on immigration… Expand
