Must say I'm a little disappointed, a part of me was hoping Tim Allen could maybe provide a few chuckles and rekindle some of that old school 90s magic. A shame Tim Allen and Kevin Sorbo didn’t take flying lessons with John Denver.

You’d be hard pressed to find a bigger Santa Clause series fan than me, but even I couldn’t finish this terrible show. It’s a real shame because visually the show looks great, the music and the tone are very similar to that of the films, butYou’d be hard pressed to find a bigger Santa Clause series fan than me, but even I couldn’t finish this terrible show. It’s a real shame because visually the show looks great, the music and the tone are very similar to that of the films, but the writing is unbearable. Joke after joke that doesn’t land or make sense, nothing really happens in the episodes, there are no stakes to any events that are happening….. man what a shame. If the writing was better it would be a fun sequel to the films, but I’ll continue watching those every year and never watch this show again. Terrible.… Expand

Expecting the nostalgic feel of the original Santa Clause series and then watching this was like experiencing a less than exciting lead up to a disappointing result. I wouldn’t say it was all bad, but it certainly could be described as “ho-ho-humdrum”. Low expectations were met with boring results sprinkled with confusing plot lines, odd and out of place characters, and a flat climax. While the heartwarming feel lifted the mood, it wasn’t enough to put it on my yearly winter watch list with giants as successful as the original Santa Clause, The Grinch, or any other yearly memorable Christmas film or franchise. Good for the young kiddos, but not enough for the grown ups to join.… Expand
