Don't let the metascore fool you. This show is one of the best shows I've seen in a while. Great plot, great acting, lots of action, and doesn't include the hollywood wokeness.

This was a good show and we want more (speaking for 8 of us here). It kept us at the edge of our chairs wondering certain things (no spoilers). Loved the characters, acting, score... good stuff. We definitely need seasons 2 to 10. Thanks!

It's a return to great shows that entertain rather than play politics. Great story written by a man that actually knows what he's writing about. Good acting. I read all the books before seeing this show. I was worried that it would be watered down, but this thing is gritty. Every episode looks like a movie. It would probably look great on the big screen.

But ‘critics’ and their vacuous views aside, Terminal List is a very well made show and I can wholeheartedly recommend it to fans of action thrillers not obsessed with identity politics. The show’s paced fantastically well, with a number of unexpected twists and turns, and is shot beautifully. A special mention also to Chris Pratt, who is exceptional as the lead.
Anyone interested in a very decent binge worthy show to occupy their time could do a lot worse than The Terminal List. Such as Resident Evil, for example.… Expand

What a great show. Love Chris Pratt, and this show is just fantastic from start to finish. It tells a classic story. Yes, it's true, but it conveys it in a beautiful, exciting way. Acting is good. The action scenes are well shot and feel good. It's not a must-watch series, but it's quite enjoyable. If you have time, I suggest you watch it.

The show is really well executed with solid acting, and an initially very intriguing storyline. It falls flat at the tail end though, turning out to be too one-dimensional. Everyone is guilty and killing them is the only response.

Cinematography and direction was astonishing. The story itself was compelling and entertaining. I couldn't stop until I finished it. The negatives: The hue palette was a little too dark for me. I prefer more vibrant colors. I know it's an artistic choice, but not my cup of tea. The story is great but it seem a little bloated. This could have been a great 3 hour film if editing would have been done good. Also, a few things took me out of the film for a moment. A Navy Commander attacking an Admiral with zero consequences is not realistic. He would end up in court martial in real life. It was a shame because small details like that could be easily avoided and they take away realism to an otherwise flawless production.… Expand

Basically everything people giving it bad notes is true. Which is actually the reason it's a 10 out of 10.

Maybe 20 years ago it would be a 7,5 or a 8,5, but nowadays its impressive that it even got made.

I didn't hate this. Not much different from any Tom Clancy techo/action thriller. Certainly no worse than John Krasinski's Jack Ryan series. It's hard to make me impressed these days and these series did it. Incredibly well made. Screenplay, editing, music all blends together so well. This series is a master-work. One of the all time greats of TV action-thrillers, constant twists and turns, rapid action, well executed plot, exceptional acting, moments of intense emotion and catharsis, a constant and very human morality, and a sense of reality that is refreshing. I started watching, expecting I would take my time with the series...

Ended up binge watching it all in one night.

Personally put this on the same tier as Game of Thrones and the Expanse.

This is TV done exceptionally well. Stop reading: Go watch it.… Expand

This is an absolute gem. Very suspenseful with a good story enhanced by Chris pratts ability to act in different mindsets makes for a must see series. Ignore all the bias critics because this is a great show. Breath of fresh air for once!

Very good show, throwback to the Bourne movie era that focuses on action, complex story lines, and conspiracy. First episode takes a little time to hit its stride, but when it does, it kept my interest. Chris Pratt does well in the starring role.

The Terminal List is one of the best shows I've seen, military or otherwise.. This may be my favorite work from Chris Pratt!

I love this show! It is written by a former Navy SEAL so there's a level of authenticity that makes it much more believable and compelling. The whe thing is an action-packed thrill ride start to finish. Strongly recommend!

Chris Pratt has done an outstanding performance of this character, switching from a loving family man, a respected soldier and squad leader to becoming very intense and outright scary when required. Is this the best show ever made? Probably not. But it's a damn good one. Plot is great, cinematics and special effects are good, the writing and acting are great. This is definitely better than 90% of things out there these days.

This is what we have come to with so called "professional movie critics" on the internet. In fact, I could probably do a better job at proper reviews than these trolls.

I'm a liberal and I thoroughly enjoyed this show. ANYONE who's actually watched the show would know that there isn't any right or left-wing agendas involved in this series. Because not everything HAS to be about politics. Critics should get that through their thick skulls. In fact, the user ratings, and the Amazon Prime Video charts show how utterly out of touch with reality these "critics" are. They wouldn't know what good entertainment is even if it slapped them sideways across the face.

The show is a military-spy thriller masterpiece by Antoine Fuqua. It has tons of action, suspense, and plot twists for the viewers to enjoy. Chris Pratt does a great job in embodying the internal and external struggles of a paranoid soldier suffering from PTSD. The pacing is also good, keeping the sense of dread and tension up with very few sluggish moments. The reason I'm not giving it a 10 is because I didn't enjoy some of the lighting work. I understand the story is very dark, but did we really have to make everything look as black as possible? I had to turn my screen to maximum brightness just to make out the details of some scenes. Also, plus for Asian representation in the cast. I'm glad to see more shows feature people that look like me :)… Expand

Pratt puts in a very believable performance, best yet. Nothing took me out of the show while watching it either… It was a really refreshing take on a this genre. The final twist ending was… okay… but still didn’t take anything away from this story as a whole. Would recommend… Expand

The revenge theme was set up well and him taking out his list was justice served. This is not a PG effort and did well with the realism from combat to how fights work. Fuqua, Carr, Pratt, etc... can be proud of doing a straight up old fashioned thriller set in modern times but with timeless themes of family, brotherhood, justice, revenge, betrayal - well done and highly recommend.… Expand

Thoroughly enjoyed the series and I didn't expect to either but the series pacing ensures like a master stroke you are never waiting long before something goes down. Chris pratt is also likeable as the protagonist but also at times I disliked his ruthless nature but this here had a potent message that said to me well your not supposed to understand him he is from a different world we as an audience
Will never understand and his motivations we can never truly relate to unless you suffered what he has. Critics don't always don't get it right they certainly got it wrong with last jedi and now this. Guilty pleasure watching… Expand

I like Pratt in Guarduans, Parks & Rec, Zero Dark Thirty. He's ok in the first Jurassic, but this and that other Amazon produced movie are stinkers. Believe the critics. The user reviews are either bot farms or Amazon paid flunkees.

I don't know how it got so much worse compared to Pratt's great performance in Zero Dark Thirty, but I'm sure Reece would have been better off in the hands of a different actor. Another big problem lies in the pacing of the show. The scenes with the most action are just haphazardly thrown in there. They don't give the viewer enough time to build up excitement. This is the main reason I couldn't finish the series. I was tired of getting jerked around in a clumsy attempt to get my blood pumping. Finally, the plot was okay, and it's the reason this gets 2/10 instead of 0. Unfortunately, it wasn't enough to keep me hooked. I just couldn't get invested in the story in this format. I think I'll stick to the books. One last note: many of the reviewers in this page have decided to LIE about the content because they seem to think they can score political points. It's weird to politicize entertainment television. If I had to guess, I'd think they were drawn here by a Fox News segment to try and hijack the score.… Expand

This should have been a movie. There wasn't enough source material for an 8-part series. The plot is glacially slow. The characters are boring. And the twist is obvious. Reacher is a much better show. Check it out

This show had an interesting premise and there are definitely many entertaining scenes, but the story and dialogue felt overly long and dragged out. This easily could've been a much tighter 4 part mini-series. Reacher was a much better show if you want a solid revenge tale.… Expand
