Behar is the true star. She's funny, likable (without sacrificing irreverence) and sensible. She's much too good to be sidelined an average of two days a week.
For a guy like me, The View is a nice cheap thrill — gee, is thiswhat it's like to be at a multigenerational pajama party? And if the whooping enthusiasm of the mostly female studio audience is any measure, it's a party women are also glad to be invited to.

These women are a bunch of bullies except meghan mccain. It is the most hate filled show i couldn't watch it for more than 2 minutes. Sad this is allowed to pollute our airwaves and people watch it says a lot about our society.

I am a diehard fan of The View but I am offended when the grand Poopa's (old show hosts) interrupt Alyssa Farah Griffin without a second thought when she has politely waited her turn. I am a progressive on most fronts but this is a real problem for the hosts. It used to be Whoopi that the hosts would talk over but I guess they figured out that wasn't good policy. But as a woman who is often ignored, even by other women, I find it bullying and very disrespectful. I am, as I said, grateful for The View in all its' importance, so please take heed.

A flawed if promising start for a tough old veteran that proved it's still got some fight--and talk--left.
This respectable, illuminating View was also--let’s face it--kind of boring.... It’s kind of a comfort, and even exciting, that these four very intelligent, very congenial women with an abundance of respect for each other are going to be the ones helming it.
Only time will tell how well the chemistry holds up and evolves among the central quartet, but despite all the changes (including a new showrunner), The View hasn’t done much more than rearrange--and perhaps reupholster--the chairs.
Most of what went on in between was rather stilted, which is to be expected when new hosts take over a long-established show, and this one has been around for 17 years. But even on Day 1, there were signs of where The View is headed, and it’s likely to be more tame.
Over 25 years The View has had many women at the table sharing their views on topics. Today, they added Alyssa Farrah Griffin AND Ana Navarro as Co-Hosts to the show! A GREAT MOVE! Alyssa's experience with 45 and Pence & Pentagon and Ana's humor and insight is fabulous! Long overdue!

I found Sunny Hostin's grandstanding on the June 6th 'The View' totally unacceptable. She was rude, exhausting, stress-inducing and everything negative about politics today - and I'm a Democrat! If her domination of the narrative on 'The View' continues, I'll be changing the channel. Ms. Hostin needs to be reminded that she is one on a panel of 5. Syd

I watch the view daily and generally enjoy it. Today, however, Sara was completely out to lunch when she made the statement that (approximately) "only 50 % of your kids' DNA is yours- the rest is a mix from.."???? I am a Ph.D. geneticist (will be happy to supply credentials on request. She is at best unclear, but at worst, which I assume from her repeated assertion, just ignorant. Bare facts- each parent contributes 50% of the conceptus' DNA. In addition, mitochondrial DNA from the maternal egg is inherited, so that all offspring **** mother will have mitochondrial DNA from their mother (used to help in lineage studies). Please correct her and have a clear explanation made on air- I'm sure she doesn't want to be viewed as ignorant.

I’m sorry for some of the women on the view that agreed with scientists about the SHROUD. Hello scientists are only human and not right all the time especially with anything that pertains to GOD. They are always on the hunt to say he did not exist! That piece of cloth was his signature his autograph he left behind which was apart of himself for people who have little faith. In other words he was telling us all he was here and did walk his earth and talk to his people.

Sunny Hostin is the most narcissistic prima donna that thinks she knows everything and is never wrong. She is so unkind and if you disagree with her she belittles and humiliates. She's a bully and acts likes a spoiled child and yet she is so insecure she is insanely jealous of her husband. She definitely has some mental issues!!!
