I don't know. I wanted to like it. The surrealism is great, but there's something about the broader view of the show that strikes me oddly regressive, which is the last thing you'd expect it to be. I suppose I'm not the intended audience, andI don't know. I wanted to like it. Good stuff bogged down with content that feels exploitative in a way I can't exactly pin down. Stopped watching after the "plumage" episode.… Expand

Animation was dull, the characters aren't deep, most of the comedy doesn't land because most of the time it's cheap.

I have watched several episodes over two seasons. I gave this show a chance. But it is horrible. Until I watched Tuca and Bertie, I had never seen any Adult Swim show where I didn't laugh once. All of the men on the show are eitherI have watched several episodes over two seasons. I gave this show a chance. But it is horrible. Until I watched Tuca and Bertie, I had never seen any Adult Swim show where I didn't laugh once. All of the men on the show are either weak-willed useless idiots, bumbling meathead man-children, or sexual perverts who can't go 5 mins without harassing a woman. Yes, there are people like that, but they don't make up a majority of men. This is lazy writing, it's pandering to the "woke" crowd, or being sexist towards me and women. Worst of all...it's not funny. What I don't get is how such an unfunny show can have a 100 on Rotten Tomatoes. I suspect that any negative reviews are flagged on most sites, or people are afraid of saying that this "hilarious and brave" show is unfunny and hacky, with lazy writing and pandering. I'm not. I'm not going to pretend that this show is the greatest animated show ever to be created. It's crap. Unfunny crap.… Expand
