The UI is a bit overbearing for console and I can imagine playing on a smaller tv (65inch) as the writing is already small.
I can see myself coming back to this game as its simple to pick up and put down and a great bash with friends.… Expand

After playing for a couple of hours I can already say this feels like a pretty refreshing change up for the BR genre, its plays very much like you would expect a titan fall shoot off game to play so the mechanics are pretty smooth.
The addition of a class system is really nice, anyone who has played overwatch or rainbow 6 will appreciate the idea of team composition and when picking characters and even with a small selection of legends this still comes into play.
Little things like designating who gets to pick their characters when and the ability to take control of the entire teams drop location means there is a real push on team work.
Further touches like being able to see the gear level of enemies before trying to look their bodies and possibility of legend revival are all welcome change ups.
Overall this game has potential and its already pretty polished. Look forward to seeing how this plays out.… Expand

* It feels like a full game with plenty of room for expansion, its that good old grind to earn experience buy/upgrade your weapons, matches are short so even in failure you still feel like you are having a good time.
*The weapons look and feel great even giving PSVR's short comings in tech, the modelling for the maps, specialists and weapons are really good. Gun sounds are also spot on.
*It really pulls you in, you feel like you are part of a team and when everyone is on mic you start to feel a bit of kin ship.
* communication and strategy is rewarded, even when you are dead and on camera duty you still feel like you have a part to play. I have been in matches where we were 4-1 down and managed to pull it back just by communicating where enemies were.
* Servers a bit rubbish at the moment, be prepared to be dropped a few times.
*Gun height takes some getting used to but you will get used to it. Bringing the gun to your head in game is chest height in reality but this is stop you from smacking yourself in the face.
* matches should probably be best of 3, there a bit too much waiting in the lobby between matches especially if someone leaves.
*Speaking of the lobby, it really needs something to do between matches. You can spend half your time sitting in the lobby so it is one area I would love to see change.
* Aim can be a little floaty and grenades can be tricky to track one they hit the ground and bounce, that may be more of a personal gripe though.… Expand

Simple concept that anyone familiar with burnout will know, crash your car into an intersection and try to do as much damage as possible, this game adds some nuisance by throwing in some variety in vehicle and specific challenges (it almost feels puzzley at time) and like similar games makes you want to hit that platinum mark if you are a completionist.
- Simple and addictive.
- Things go boom
- Price point is bang on
- Physics are a bit off at times,
- high scores can come down to luck
- some challenges can also come down to luck due to physics
Honestly I give this an 8 based solely on my enjoyment of the game but i can see how someone else might give it 5 so unlike some games where a rating can be universal its really going to be a do your research and if you feel like this sort of game appeals to you ( think Trackmania and Trials) then pick it up.… Expand

Simple entertaining game with endless potential for humorous on the couch laughs. The controls are a bit hit and miss but this may be intentional, unfortunately coupling this with a some wicked server issues it makes playing online painful for anyone with a slower connection.
No single player mode outside of online (that I could see anyway) does leave you a little high and dry if the servers are bad and you have no couch buddies but for the price its still worth a purchase.… Expand

If you walked into this game expecting Devil May Cry then you were always going to be disappointed but that doesnt mean the game is bad.
Hell-blade offers is a developer branching out and approaching mental illness through this medium which is something that hasnt really been done on this scale before, they have done the research and the finished product is beautiful and painful representation of someone going through psychosis.
Headset is an absolute must.
Outside of the underlying theme the gameplay is solid, the puzzles while straightforward add to the theme of the game so it never feels like you are doing something for the sake of doing something, the battle system is simple but intuitive, even though the battles themselves are repetitive the ever looming thought of perma death makes things slightly more intense.

So for me this expansion maybe needed to wait another couple of months until they had worked the bugs out of the main game, it’s feels light much in the same way a couple of the original games expansions did and I would go as far as saying it’s the smallest expansion to do date.
As usual the mechanics are great and environments are stunning but there is a shallowness to it all, recycled enemies, weapons and nothing really new to the way the game is played there is so much potential in this game that hasn’t been realised, give us a reason, a real reason to keep playing.
Worth playing but just don’t expect a lot in the long term at this stage.… Expand

It was notI picked up a VR bundle over the weekend and had heard good things about this game so figured it would be a great place to start. It was not longer before I seemingly lost 5 hours of my life and was fully immersed in the world of Superhot.
This games has nailed the formula for an immersive VR FPS that doesn't require much of the way in movement but never makes you feel like you are stuck on the spot. As you know the action in Superhot only moves when you do so having to actively figure out how to dodge incoming bullets whilst looking for a weapon makes the as much a puzzler as it does a FPS.
While the motion tracking and item throwing mechanics can sometimes go amiss it is never enough to make the game feel impossible or break the immersion that the game does so well to create.
I highly recommend this to anyone starting out in VR as it does a great job of introducing a number of core VR mechanics without the issue motion sickness.… Expand

ThatsThe insanity here is that DbD and F13 combined would make for the perfect game in that they make up for each others weaknesses.
Thats probably doesnt sell you much on this game but it is at its core enjoyable and the character progression and variety makes it the stronger of the two games. Where it lacks is variety in map and gameplay. Despite there actually being more maps that are procedurally generated to boot its never really feels like you have much to do as the core game mode is straight forward restart generators - find doors, The same for the killer, find people - put on hook - wait.
Should they introduce updates (I stress these should be free) expanding game play modes and map types they immediately better this games final score.… Expand

Im in the later category and I feel this game has some potential, the art style can be slightly off putting at first but Its been done this way for a reason and I can fully appreciate what the game designers are trying to do.
Drawn to death can be probably be summed up as a dukenukem hero shooter hybrid. I really enjoyed the variety and ridiculousness of the arsenal while still having that learning curve with each ability.
I love that they have done the utmost to keep to the theme of the game throughout and taunt system using GIF's on different regions of the touchpad is genius, would really like to see other game incorporate this.
All in all I hope to drag a few more mates into this and fingers crossed it its played enough to warrant the devs putting more time in to refine any rough edges.… Expand
