Every DS gamer should give it a whirl, regardless of their design ambition, even if just to get a sense of what wacky creativity lies in the minds of their fellow gamers.
This game is perfection in all the definition of the word.
So why? You can play and create your own micro-games, music and also comics! When I was a kid, it seemed to was like a infinite game, with infinite posibilities, and I wasn't wrong at all... You really can do everything who do you want, I maded Mario style games, fish games, etc. There aren't so much limits, such like Minecraft.
Anyways, the game have prepacked games to play if you don't want to do it yourself, and all are so cool! Also the music is really good, search the OST in YouTube if you want.
There are so very different modes and a lot of content, really, you will be not bored in any second. So in conclusion, a masterpiece of the DS and my second favorite game of the DS (my first one is NSMB)
All in all, WarioWare D.I.Y. is a worthy investment for anyone even remotely interested in the promise of level creation. For fans of more traditional WarioWare gameplay, there's... well... there's no such thing.
Despite the learning curve and handful of microgames, WarioWare D.I.Y. is one of Nintendo's most ingenious and satisfying DS efforts, and we strongly recommend playing it on the DSi XL, where those big screens make it easier to draw and view your creations.
There are good ideas here, and around 100 pre-made micro-games to play, but WarioWare: D.I.Y. ultimately reveals itself as an obscure, cluttered experience.
Great game if you like design however, even if you are not good at design it is still a good game i highly recommend it if you want to get in game design. the mechanics are great, and if you are not good at music composing you can have the composer make it for you and if you are not good at game or music design you can do comic design or if you are not good at any of the three than you can finish off the partly made games or play the pre made games.
This game is amazing
first of all its easy to use
second of all the tutoriels for how to make a microgame is great for teaching how the game works
and third you can make music
sadly the online features don't work but that's not that big of a deal
I spent a lot of my time on this game i even go back to it sometime to see my old games that i made. If you want to buy some DS games this is one of the best.
This game is amazing. Even if you have zero creativity, you can still edit the existing games, changing, for example, a balloon-popping game into a flying monkey-shooting game. There is no end to the content, especially if you have many friends with the game to share over wifi. It has it's limits, but within those, your creativity is pushed to ITS limits. This game is awesome.
Not the greatest game but you can get a couple good hours out of it if you have a good imagination. It was fun when my brother and I first got it and we would play the game for quite some time. It's fairly simplistic and none of the preset minigames are really anything good. It's fun to make games and even more fun to see how they sell and try to compete against someone which in my case was my brother. Occasionally I do go back to play this game, not to make games, just to look at my previous creations and have a nostalgic trip back to how bad I was at making games and drawing.
SummaryThe WarioWare: D.I.Y. game lets players create the same kind of microgames that are the hallmark of the WarioWare series. Players design every aspect of their creations, including graphics, animation, music and rules. Do It Yourself! Take on the role of game designer and create your own microgames by crafting everything from artwork, ani...
