Jul 14, 201160Cubic Ninja is a delightful addition to a 3DS market saturated with games seemingly made to take a quick advantage of the new technology.
-
Jul 15, 201150Cubic Ninja could have been a nice platform, but the control system lacks precision and level design is too straightforward.
-
Jun 25, 201140Quotation forthcoming.

Jun 28, 201155Elation turns to frustration in Cubic Ninja's twisted worlds.
-
Jul 20, 201163It is a creative 3DS game. You control the tiny ninja by using the gyrosensor in the 3DS. That is pretty creative, but a iPad or iPhone has also a gyrosensor, so why has Cubic Ninja been published on the 3DS? There is no real use of the buttons or the 3D effect.

Jun 20, 201155Cubic Ninja could have been an amazingly addictive game, but some faulty controls and a lack of content hold it back. It's still a fun experience, but for such a high price tag it's not really worth the investment.
-
Jun 26, 201130It's relatively original but this unusual puzzler does nothing to justify more than the 59p it should've cost as a smartphone game.
-
Aug 1, 201160Nice characters, though. [Aug 2011, p.69]
-
Jun 23, 201150There are glimpses of really good times in Cubic Ninja but it's far too restrained to let those promises run free. Between the high price tag, cumbersome controls, middling stage design and strangled communication features, there are simply too many barriers to portable shinobi bliss.
-
May 31, 201140There's just nothing clever or satisfying here. [June 2011, p.87]
-
Jun 21, 201140A disappointment. The focus on gyroscope controls limits the game's level design and makes it awkward and boring for players who use the Circle Pad. With the aid of the level creator, better levels can be made, but the controls are still bad.
-
Jun 19, 201179A short but quirky little game having a personality crisis. It's fun while it lasts. [July 2011, p.80]
-
Jul 10, 201150If it was released as an eShop title and had greater care taken to the controls, then it would be a much more worthwhile purchase, but as it stands there isn't enough variety or polish on offer in Cubic Ninja.
-
Jul 12, 201150Cubic Ninja tilts towards the bargain bin with awkward controls and maddeningly silly level design.
-
Jun 27, 201140Though it includes some interesting ideas, Cubic Ninja is a puzzle game that really fails to set itself apart from the pack.
