Granted, the difficulty curve is quite steep, but that shouldn’t stop you from having some fun with it. I just wish there was a little more variation in the music. Overall, the game was very enjoyable and is definitely at least worth checking out.

Groove Heaven is a relatively good looking game, there are some good ideas here and if you approach it expecting ‘My first rhythm action game’ you won’t be too disappointed, and maybe in this it has done its job. However, it is disappointing that it fails to reach the euphoric heights hinted at by that title.

This one is short, shallow, and frankly too easy to keep anyone interested for long.

Groove Heaven is clearly one for the kids, but even then, it's far too short of an adventure that lacks variety in its levels and music tracks. The presentation is lovely and the idea is welcome, but it's difficult to recommend this rhythm title over some of the greats already available on the Nintendo 3DS.
