  • Summary: In All Star Cheer Squad, players immerse themselves into the world of competitive cheerleading as they experience the thrill and excitement of cheer through creativity, customization, style and teamwork. The release marks THQ's first original property created specifically for girls on Wii and Nintendo DS. (Ed: I suppose male cheerleaders are chopped liver?) The Nintendo DS version of the game features a storyline unique to the system that focuses on the adventure of cheerleading camp, where players compete to beat the rival camp. [THQ] Expand

  1. All Star Cheer Squad is a game that somewhat surprised me. Rather then cash in on the casual audience with a subpar effort, THQ has offered up a pretty neat little cheerleading title that allows you to ‘get in the game’ and show your team spirit.
  2. Altogether, All Star Cheer Squad feels like mishmash of decent ideas muddled with bad design.
  3. Although younger players may relate to the cheer camp storyline, the gameplay just isn't that fun and suffers from too many repetitive elements.
