75Unfortunately there was nothing that really stood out about this game. Fans of the show will dive right in and love the heck out of it.
-
70Tose software has made a solid action RPG. It's not as exciting as the show is, but I still had a pretty fun time playing it.
-
69Avatar: The Last Airbender is worth renting if you're a diehard fan of the show (assuming you can find it. Few rentailers offer DS games). But you're better off with the GBA version – a game that spends more time on action and puzzles, and less time trying to re-tell a story the fans are already familiar with.
-
Fans of the show and newbies alike have much to enjoy here. [Dec. 2006, p.109]
-
Although the gameplay is a bit repetitive and shallow, the graphics are certainly a pleasure to look at in each area, and the cut scenes with voice acting are a nice addition for a Nintendo DS title.
-
60I am left in a bit of a conundrum - here is a game where I barely passed the first boss battle and neither of my kids were able to defeat that first boss (my older son would have managed eventually it but after about twenty minutes he wanted to get back to Pokémon Ranger and didn't care if he ever saw Avatar again!)
-
60The game is obviously aimed at children who will most likely eat this one up like it was sweet, sweet candy. Adults, however, will find it about as appetizing as steamed cauliflower and should definitely avoid it as such.
-
Despite being reasonably deep, it's just too dreary to recommend. [Dec 2006, p.54]
-
57The Avatar's DS debut serves up an engaging story and some slick 3D visuals, but it's otherwise just another mediocre brawler.

Dex8Solid game, good fun! Like the RPG action, but some of the bosses were way hard.
