  • Summary: Carnival Games for DS brings the fun of the original to the DS during the summer vacation and travel season. Each game is designed from the ground up to take full advantage of the DS control mechanism. A frenzied combination of tapping, blowing, speaking and stylus maneuvering brings the now famous midway to life. Favorites such as Alley Ball, Frog Leap and Dunk Tank are complemented with fresh games including RC Raceway and Clown Hammer. [2K Games] Expand

  1. If you enjoy mini-games with a focus upon beating previous high scores and unlocking mostly pointless extras for your character then you can't go far wrong with this.
  2. 65
The product doesn't quite hit the target in a lot of places, but it's pretty clear that the developer put a bit more effort into its game than some other developers put into their own "cash-in casual" titles.
  3. 2K's Carnival Games for Wii is a fun, pick-up-and-play party game that many enjoyed, but unfortunately the fun factor doesn't translate well to the DS. [Aug 2008, p.90]

  1. While the Wii Version is the worst offender, this is still nearly as bad. And it still gets a zero! Avoid. Get Disgaea if you want a good, cheap DS game. Expand
