  • Summary: Cut the Rope, a fun, physics-based puzzle game with intuitive controls, swings its way onto Nintendo eShop on Nintendo 3DS. When a mysterious package arrives at your door, Om Nom, the cute little monster inside, is only looking for one thing: sweets! Using the Touch Screen, snip the rope at the perfect moment to give Om Nom the boiled sweet hes craving, and collect as many gold stars as you can by touching them with the delicious treat. Every level is replayable, so if you missed a star or just feel like you can get a higher score, you can go back and try again.

Each of the 12 themed collection of levels known as level boxes introduces something new to the gameplay, and with 300 levels in total to puzzle through, you wont run out of fun ways to keep your monster friend fed. Cut the Rope on Nintendo 3DS also features Om Nom Stories, a series of short animated episodes detailing your cute new friends adventures. Free updates to Cut the Rope on Nintendo 3DS add new content, including new animations and levels.

Overall, Cut the Rope is wonderful on DSiWare. It earns a hearty recommendation from me for all Nintendo portable players – you should only skip this one if you've already played a prior version of it to completion
  2. Nov 13, 2011
One of the best puzzles in the DSiWare.
  3. Quality gameplay, but, heartbreaking though it is, hard to recommend when you can get it far cheaper elsewhere.
  4. Oct 10, 2011
Cut the Rope on DSiWare is as great as it was on iPhone/iPad, only for a price which is more than five times bigger.
  5. Nov 2, 2011
A smart game undermined by price and the lack of care in the porting process. [Nov 2011, p.77]
  6. Nov 20, 2011
A hit on iOS, Chillingo's puzzler arrives on DSi with uglier looks, less content and a wheezing frame rate. [Christmas 2011, p.89]

they don't give you the full game and it's 2 dollars more. there is 200 levels less than the iOS version so if you're looking for cut the rope just get it for 3ds for 5 dollars more. at least it's the full game. Expand
