AlienAfterAll and Neko Entertainment have out-done themselves with DodoGo! Robo. Some may think that three entries into a series in roughly a year might be overkill, but this third iteration takes the original formula, tweaks it to perfection and delivers changes requested by fans themselves to serve up one of the most delicious gaming dishes for gamers to tuck-in to on the DSiWare download service. At a mere 200 Points, DodoGo! Robo is even better value than Nintendo's releases at the same price-point!

But if you're the kind of hardy soul who positively revels in merciless treatment, then a couple of quid is a small price to pay for such joyful puzzle punishment.

DodoGo! Robo is not as much of a follow-up as it's just a budget-priced companion piece to the more robust original game. Both, I think, are entirely worth your time and cash.

While DodoGo! Robo may not do a great deal to expand on the ideas laid down by the original, it delivers a cheap, cheerful and challenging package that is more than worthy of a place on your DSi. It's a prime example of a simple premise being taking to a satisfying and engaging conclusion, and stands head and shoulders above most of its 200 DSi Point brethren. Extinction would be a cruel fate for this particular Dodo.

DodoGo! Robo is a pretty nice sequel to DodoGo!. For only 2 Euro, you get a entertaining, challenging and creative DSiWare game for everyone. I can only recommend the game to all DSi owners.

DodoGo! Robo is a much simpler, easier game than its predecessors, which may be a good or a bad thing to you.

Doesn't add much. Rather it subtracts. [July 2011, p.91]
