  • Summary: Based on the popular animated series airing on ABC Family and Toon Disney, Dragon Booster is a fast paced 3rd person racing/action game set in a fantastical world where humans and dragons co-exist. When their peaceful way of life is disrupted, Beau, a legendary dragon, chooses Artha Penn, an ordinary 16-year old, to become a mythical hero known as the Dragon Booster. In this classic tale of good versus evil, Artha must use his new-found abilities to defeat his foes and unite humans and dragons once and for all. [Konami] Expand

  1. If so much of the game weren't based solely on the touch screen, Konami might have had a winner. [Feb 2006, p.100]
  2. Despite a cool concept, the unusable controls and other flaws prevent Dragon Booster from making the cut.

The idea is solid, but the haphazard controls suck most of the enjoyment from these rails. We'd like to see more dragons in our games, but requiring the use of an ice pack after bouts with the stylus seems unnecessary.
  4. Riding dragons and racing them against others should have been a fun idea, but here is marred by sloppy controls, dull races and bland visuals.

The game itself I didnt think was too bad but, there was 1 big issue that got me really mad about it. This game thats out right now wasnt the originaly version. In the original version you could.
3rd Person Action: Collecting, Breeding, Exploration
1st Person Dragon Riding: Combat, Racing, Fighting
Capture, Breed and Collect Up to 12 Different Dragons
Trade Gear and Dragons over Wireless Connection

And, for some reason. Half way through the prosedure...they pulled all of that stuff out. See for yourself http://www.konami.com/gs/gameinfo.php?id=46 and, thats false advertisment and, I want answers and, that version of the game put out. If that version was released the game would be 10 times better.
