  1. Globulos Party offers great local multiplayer fun, but is a little too hit and miss as a single-player game.
  2. It simple nature makes it perfect for a quick play every now and then.
  3. 60
It's a decent enough collection of diversions for just five bucks, but it's still hard to really recommend -- because, like some other downloads that have come to DSiWare and WiiWare, Globulos Party is based on a Flash game that you can play for free online.
  4. The game is entertaining for five or ten minutes at a time and works well as a timewaster. If it was any more than 500 points I would say don't bother, but for the money, the game is a good value.
  5. 60
Globulos Party is a fun piece of software, especially when playing with a friend. Unfortunately the idea has not been expanded upon since its initial inception as a free Flash-based game, with the Internet match-up element actually being removed from the DSiWare version, severely reducing its replay value.
  6. 60
It is mostly a multiplayer game, for up to two players, but it works really well for one player. It is, in fact, its best virtue in comparison with the Flash version.
  7. Globulos Party has a great number of game modes, but the core gameplay is iterative and not so fun if you play solo.
  8. If the game was 200 Nintendo Points like the Arcade Basketball or the Extreme Hangman games (which are both fun and well priced by the way), I would probably recommend it because of its plethora of gameplay modes and how fun it is as a time waster game. But at five dollars, with other, more interesting games, to spend your Nintendo Points on, I just can’t.
  9. When you think "party games," you don't normally think of playing multiple games in the exact same manner, and there's a reason why – it gets boring.
  10. It may struggle to satiate the hunger of the solo gamer, but the multiplayer offers enough content and variety to make it a title well worth dipping into; and for 500 points, that’s not a bad deal at all.
  11. If you have a DSi and you find yourself playing it around friends a lot, then Globulos Party might be worth the plunge. However, if you’re a solo gamer, there are much better single-player experience on DS and DSiWare.
