    A bit of unique personality to this title, but not really enough to say so, especially if you're already working through the much more satisfying and complete Puzzle Quest. You can't beat the price, though.

    Solidly constructed and as compelling as ever, Jewel Quest on the DS suffers from the wealth of high-quality alternatives on the platform and a somewhat superfluous story.

    If, however, the narrative is tacked on and redundant, and the game itself is a poor copy of greater originals, then the best advice I can give is simple and hopefully more effective than all the faux emotion pulsing through Jewel Quest Expeditions: avoid this game.
