When someone steals some strawberry shortcake, the pink powerhouse sets out after them, learning new skills. Players can expect all the floating, jumping and battling of a classic Kirby game, but this time, Kirby’s copy abilities have been massively boosted. Not only can players mix and match copy abilities by using the stylus to drag them together inside Kirby's belly (located on the touch screen), but the powers themselves now have the ability to affect the environment, as well as foes. Burn trees and grasses with the Fire ability, freeze water with the Ice ability. In sub-game mode, this game also features multiplayer fun for up to four players, using either Multi-Card or DS Download Play over DS Local Area Network. [Nintendo] Expand

The unique structure of the boss battles, hidden items to find and strategy involved with mixing abilities, managing your inventory - which is effectively Kirby's stomach - and deciding how to take down each enemy really makes Squeak Squad one of the best platform adventures you can find today.

The only thing we didn't like about Squeak Squad is that it's a tad on the easy side...But there is no denying the ineffable charm of this title.
  3. Though Kirby Squeak Squad rarely finds a way to challenge you, it's a clever and cute enough platformer to recommend to most DS owners.
  4. Frantic battles with thieving rodents conclude each level but soon become repetitive and don't add much to the package. Nor do the small collection of simple multi-player mini-games, which include food gobbling contests and a shooting gallery.
  5. Undoubtedly a fun game. Anyone who has played a Kirby title before will not find anything particularly new here but everything is done in a very inventive and fun way.
  6. It's a well made game from a presentation standpoint, but the bulk of the game is simply far too simple to keep any but the most hardened Kirby fan glued to his or her dual screens.
  7. Kirby manages to star in yet another passable game for a Nintendo system. No, Kirby Squeak Squad isn’t ground-breaking by any means, but hey, you could do a lot worse.

Somethings i think that ruined it slightly is that the game is incredibly short with only 8 areas and 5 stages (there are EX stages but they arent very hard)with easy to get unlockables and they gave kirby an infinite float which isnt even needed unless your fighting kracko. Overall i think its a great kirby game but with the least content of them all with no The arena or True arena which is dissapointing so i'd recommend it for a cheap price, but I'd say go with Superstar ultra if you want a full kirby game on DS Expand

Only 5 ability combinations, little creativity, and a less than half a day completion (100%) left me sadly disappointed and short $30. You Only 5 ability combinations, little creativity, and a less than half a day completion (100%) left me sadly disappointed and short $30. You would have more fun with amazing mirror than with squeak squad, cause at least that uses creativity. I would recommend renting it, but not buying. Expand
