Despite the fact that it is clearly being marketed at children, Enchanted Folk is a surprisingly deep game. Fans of Animal Crossing may feel that this is a little too similar for its own good, but other young gamers should have plenty of fun with their magical studies. The slow pace won't be for everyone, but kids who do like this will probably play it for a long time.
Mysterious Times is a competent Animal Crossing clone. If you are sick and tired of woodland creatures, you should give Mysterious Times a try and be pleasantly surprised at how well the game was done.
I love it! This is even better than animal crossing. It is spooky and cute at the same time! If you like animal crossing, witchy stuff, and Halloween you will love this game! (I am a goth age regressor/ pastel goth so my opinion may be biased.)
where harry potter meets Animal Crossing,
Magican's Quest is a fun game but try abit too hard to be like animal crossing games, overall the game is fun,
Sorry wizardry fans; if you're looking for magical mystery, I suggest you re-read Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. Magician's Quest just doesn't deliver.
It's cute and I can see certain subsets of gamers becoming addicted to treasure hunting and meeting all of the residents, but there are no new discoveries to be found here.
Magician's Quest: Mysterious Times is a strange on your normal life-simulation. In this game, you create your character and then attend magic school in order to become a master wizard. By doing so, you have to attend your classes and make sure you practice the spells that you learn. The game is surprisingly similar to the Animal Crossing series especially the game-play and graphics which have a very close resemblance to each other. However, the game gets a little too repetitive and is bogged down by boring activities which makes the game lose its magical charm. The game map isn't that big either meaning there isn't a lot you can explore. If you overlook the flaws, the game is very enjoyable, the shopping district within the game is fun to roam and overall it is a pretty solid life-simulation game. But just don't expect any original ideas from the game.
In this game your a young wizard who gets sent to a special magic school, you get to customize your own character and play around with spells, sounds fun right? as a Harry Potter fan I was interested with the concept, too bad it's as much fun as actually going to school, your stuck in a painfully small area with nothing to do, sure some of the spells are cool, but there's nothing you can really do with them other then play some jokes on the brain dead people around town, and for most of the game you have to go to the boring classes to learn the fun stuff, and it takes a lot of classes before you they actually teach you spells, honestly it's a boring game and unless you just want to go to a super lame and boring version of Hogwarts I don't recommend a purchase at all, it's really a shame because this is good idea if they could do this with a Harry Potter game and give you fun stuff to do, until then this is one you can avoid unless you just really like these kinds of games.
