  1. Although it has annoying voices, the gameplay is top-notch and the game is just really fun to play. It also offers many unlockables and modes to keep you coming for more.
  2. Once the learning curve has been overcome, players will want to spend time with this game. And adding the tons of unlockables only increases the replay value.
  3. A cheerful snowboarding game which, once mastered, provides a great deal of wintry entertainment. [Mar 2006, p.114]

Even more irritating are the recoveries that actually need to be manipulated. One requires you to shout into the microphone to wake your character up, and another to blow into the microphone to clear the screen of fog.

A fun game. At first I found it a boring but I forced myself to play it, and after a while I found it really fun. Lots of unlockables but would have been better with more courses and more tricks. Graphics are pretty cool, controls are perfect, music suits the game. I got used to the voices and the only one I found slightly annoying was Slash's voice but I got used to it. I'd like to see a new 1080 game for the DS. But until then, if you like snowboarding games, and want one on the DS, you can't go wrong with Snowboard Kids. Expand

Mediocre, dissapointing: Not winning any new fans, and alienating the original fans
