  1. Combined with the fun dogfighting and smart stylus control, this is better action than we deserve in a portable.
  2. Star Fox Command has great controls and introduces a strategic layer that's fairly interesting. However, the random feel of the story battles and the frantic multiplayer mode don't make the most of this game's solid foundation, which might cause nostalgic fans to long for the series' good old days.
  3. The game looks and runs great, controls wonderfully and is a perfect example of gaming done right on the DS.
  4. Just saying the word 'strategy' may turn off some gamers who aren't typically into that genre, but even if you're not, at least give a shot. We have a feeling many people will be pleasantly surprised.
  5. Though some of its design is questionable, the game is still one of the best Star Fox branded titles in years. The varied and branching single player campaign will keep you glued to your Nintendo DS for multiple playthroughs.
  6. The combination of classic and new elements makes it the most wholly satisfying Star Fox game yet. [Oct. 2006, p.88]

  2. Not a bad game, not a bad game. I liked the gameplay, although it should be more on-rails, rather than sandbox. It has multiple endings, all were a good idea, but the plot and the dialogue was extremely bad. The strategy part worked, I think, but I can see some hating it. It is confusing. The controls are just perfect, I reckon. It does sound flimsy, but it just works. The graphics look good for a DS game. But please, don't pick the next Starfox game off from this. It needs to be non-canon, as the characters make REALLY stupid mistakes in the game, throughout. Full Review »
  3. Finally, Nintendo sticks with the Arwing. The use of the pen and controls aren't too shaby for a portable. But what killed this game is the plot in general. Having alternative ending to a game really left me puzzling as to how all this connects (even though i know that none of the endings really occur to the original timeline). So I feel this game could have been something for like the iTouch or something, as opposed to a console. Full Review »
