  • Summary: The story begins with the nefarious Bowser and his koopa horde plotting a diabolical scheme to capture the famous defenders of the Mushroom Kingdom, Mario and Luigi. The plan is successful, and with Mario and Luigi out of the picture, who else is going to save the day but Peach? After a lengthy intro cutscene depicting the ill goings-on at the castle, you'll take control of Peach as she makes her way to a showdown with Bowser and the rescue of the plumbing pair. 1. With great core gameplay, tons of unlockables, a cast of memorable characters, and an audio visual feast for the senses, Super Princess Peach is a must play. [JPN Import]
  2. While it presents nearly perfect platforming, primarily young ones and frantic fans will favor the game.
  3. It's an interesting bit of role-reversal for Peach, and it does a good job of defining itself outside the Mario formula, but the game is just too easy for its own good.
  4. Super Princess Peach is as average as they come.

I recently got this game because it seemed interesting and I was happy that Nintendo published a game with Peach as the main character and not Mario. The characters are cute and the graphics are pretty good, but the graphics, as I've also read before, seem to fit a GBA just fine, which questions if this game was meant for the DS in the first place. But the game is fun, and there are a lot of things to collect. Expand

Super Princess Peach is an enjoyable platformer with some neat ideas. Unfortunately it does suffer from some very irritating level design. Throughout each level there are a number of totally unnecessary warp pipes that can take you to different parts of the level. But these serve absolutely no purpose other than to confuse and frustrate (which they do immensely). Also, the developer has gone for (what I like to call) kitchen-sink game design, and thrown in lots of extra things to fatten the game up, ie. loads of collectable items...... Expand
