    This is a great game, although I wished that it was a little longer(I beat the story mode in one day). I just got so addicted to it. The sound track had a few good songs. I liked how customizable the game was compared to other hand held Tony Hawk games.

    Quality game; highly enjoyable gameplay, great visuals and sfx, decent music, and superb replayabilty with WiFi. Definitely a must for DS owners.

    seriousedy man this os the crasiest raddest game eva. i mean i skip skewl to play this masterpeece, cuz im so bad. dude, if you are kewl you would buy this game because sk8boardins not a crime, an al the rents dont understand cause there not teenagers ands we are cool but they AINT! cause once ma rents said turn that dumb game off and i said screw you guys i dont care wut you say you dont controll ma life!! and this is the best gam in the world because the graphix are awesom and the rents dont like it so u guys that play it will seam relly rad and cool. i think i got ma point acroos cause of this the detail in the wallpapers are so good you will swear its real, but it should totaly be on the psp cause the ds is for kids, and im not a kid im a teenager and theres a humongus differene cause kids arnt hardcore rebels like me cause i say dude and man after everytthing. i only think they should have greenady on the music because they are rebel like me so rock on!!!!! sk8bordin aint i crime!!!!!… Collapse

    This is the best Tony Hawk game in the series; could only be better if you could do a caveman.

    The whole game us great except for the reason that you cant talk to your opponet on wifi. Im addicted to it. The soundtrack could have been better.

    The best graphics on the DS yet, and online features better than MK, together with a solid gameplay engine, make this on of the best DS games altogether to date.

    This game was way better than I expected, and the Wi-Fi is awsome. Being able to upload your art and look at other people's masterpieces and putting it on your board. The skateing is just like the ones for the Gamecube and such. With touch specials you can also add some extra points in your combo much easier. I recomend you get this if you like Tony Hawk Pro Skater/THUG. Oh and it doesn't matter if you can't get out of your board in this game, it still beats American Wasteland.… Expand

    Great game, I love the shading, goals, and levels. It also has a much easier concept of doing trick and specials, and i reccomend it for people new to the ds.

    big suprise for me. honestly didnot think this ds version would be any good, but it shocked and rocked me! very clean gameplay and graphics are great in cell shade. very impressed, hats off to you guys. great job! great pick up and play game. addicting. has that one more time element.

    very good game, and good wi-fi although the touch screen art has many flaws, unlike mario kart, when you draw on tony hawk, it always messes up..It stressful I would of given it a 10, but im saving that 10 for animal crossing DS

    A great game in my opinion. The only thing that dragged the score down a bit for me was the lack of difficulty in the story mode, I would have loved for it to be longer, with some trickier goals. Also some of the goals in the classic mode are a tad bland, but still enjoyable when completed. All in all, a great game, and the online aspect is going to keep me going for months, I'm already set on coming first on at least a few of the scoreboards. Oh, and I should add while my score is an 8 up there, it's actually more like an 8.5/8.6 so it's not as bad as it looks.… Expand

    game really does push DS limits, it goes over the top in presentation with lots of modes and online features, this and mario kart are the best titles on the DS now, but sk8land rises just a tad higher than MK in my book

    This is a truly exceptional title, reminiscant of the staggeringly accomplished port of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 that launched with the original GBA. A technical marvel, accentuated perfectly with tried and tested gameplay. I initially played a friend's copy for five minutes before immediately going out and buying it for myself on the strength of that brief stretch. A DS title every bit as essential as Advance Wars and Mario Kart.… Expand

    This is the best game for the DS yet. PERIOD. The cell-shaded graphics are amazing as well is the frame rate (60 fps). And, you can't forget the online capabilities. You can upload your own art and store it or download others' amazing pieces. Some are quite impressive. You can also download extra missions while online that extend the life of the game considerably. There are six months worth of planned extra missions! Now... the main reason to go online with Tony Hawk's American Sk8land is to play against other people of course! There are multiple multiplayer games that you can play with someone randomly chosen or if you want to play with a specific person you use there friend code to locate and play them. This game goes back to the Tony Hawk game roots and is a non-stop skating experience. You cannot get off your board and walk like in the Tony Hawk's Underground games. Also included are many tricks including bertslides and such from that era. Once again, I will state, this game is amazing. If you have any interest at all in skating games rush to your local game store and pick this up! It is worth every penny.… Expand

    pretty cool graphics! pretty cool sounds! the gameplay is really cool... but next time i want a chat feature with the online mode.

    Even though it’s a been there, done that experience, Tony Hawk’s American Sk8land still a fun, frantic, and fantastic design that works extraordinarily well on the handheld due to its pick-up-and-play, quick-shot construction.

    Definitely the best DS game to date that has been produced by non-Japanese developers. The single-player story mode is goofy and fun, classic mode rocks, and the online multiplayer serves as a standard for what future DS WiFi games should use for their website/DS integration.
