AndrewE.Mar 9, 20078Okay, it's not perfect, but how many games from a home console on a handheld are. The graphics are not particularly good, but the gameplay is great! It brings the best football game from home consoles onto a Nintendo handheld and does it very well!

Probably about as good a stab at PES as we had any right to expect from DS, but still a bit pants. [Mar 2007, p.76]

40This being Pro Evo it's still possible to knock the ball about with reasonable proficiency and score the occasional memorable goal, but if it's handheld football you're after, then this is simply not the right console. [Mar 2007, p.110]

60If you're looking for a fully featured PES game, you'll obviously need to look to other formats, but if you're just after a decent facsimile that allows you to enjoy the magic of a flying football, you might find the series' best feature to be its saving grace on the DS.
