    The game's GCN namesake, figher One Piece: Grand Battle, recreates the atmosphere of the TV show to chaotic effect, but this GBA adventure is more streamlined and works better as a stand-alone game. [Nov 2005, p.114]

    One Piece's only serious downfall is its limited replay value. Completing the game lasts a good 5-10 hours depending on how many deaths and retries it takes to complete the game's tough boss fights, but once the game is over there isn't much of anything to go back to.

    Colorful graphics, great music, and very few of the problems that unfortunately plague the Saturday Morning TV series, One Piece on the GBA combines beat'em'up combat with straight-forward platforming not unlike "Dragonball: Advance Adventure". The difficulty doesn't back off either: Expect a few cheap deaths from enemies purposely positioned in spots designed to make you fall into bottomless pits.… Expand
