  • Summary: Based on the third episode of the Star Wars trilogy, Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith promises an authentic Jedi experience. The third-person action game follows Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi as they fight enemies, learn new skills, and pull off combo moves. In multiplayer duels, you can fight against Darth Vader and other challenging enemies. Expand

Beautifully drawn and animated, not to mention surprisingly involving, Revenge of the Sith should please any action gamer, Star Wars fan or not.
  2. Not a ton of depth, and it's fairly short in single player, but as a whole it's a good addtion to your DS library.
  3. Most people will tell you to buy the DS version over the GBA version. I beg to differ. The GBA version is, in my opinion, fully equal to the DS version if not superior because you can play it on the big screen with the Game Boy Player, it has co-op multiplayer, it is cheaper, and, besides the space combat, it works the same as the DS version.
  4. Quotation forthcoming. [July 2005]
  5. 70
Solid stuff all around, but we'd easily take the DS version if faced with the choice.
  6. The game's biggest drawback is that it doesn't take much time to complete--perhaps two hours total for both characters.
  7. 40
The Game Boy can be a surprisingly capable platform, but Revenge of the Sith just isn't ambitious enough to become a master in its class.

Star Wars Episode 3 is a good addition to any GBA collection, especially for fans of games like Double Dragon or hack and slash brawlers. The game does have low quality music, but the sound effects are taken directly from the movie, and the character art and animations look splendid. The game can get repetitive if played in long spurts but it is addictive and has some good replay value. Expand

As said, the music is 'ringtone quality' but the action side of it is good. I like the likeness to the film, it doesn't change much. The moves are cool too! Expand

Now almost 10 years later, I recently came across this game for the GBA for super cheap, and figured "eh what they heck.... I'll give it a shot"... Much to my surprise, the game was actually not as bad as I could have imagined. I actually really did enjoy playing it. Of course the characters barely looked like their movie-counterparts, but aside from that the gameplay was challenging enough despite being a little repetitive at times. It does accomplish what it intended to do, I mean it's far from broken or impossible, while being moderately challenging and it doesn't deviate from the source material. I give the developers credit for accomplishing what they could given how little time they probably had. This is hardly the worst movie-game ever, and in reality probably one of the best I've ever played. I would definitely give it a low 7 something. Expand

Star Wars episode III video game adaptation for the GBA Its like running to a hill and throwing yourself until you hit the ground, when you wake up the other day you will think on the stupidity you've have done. So thats what it come in mind, after buying the game and beating the whole levels, you find out that you have done an error. Repetitive level design Its how lacking the Developers are . II episode GBA version was a crap of a game, but at east III managed to be quite passable for a game ( at least ). Collapse

The gameplay was pretty good although repetitive. The graphics weren't good but not bad either, although the cartoony faces where badly drawn. The music was very low quality and didn't resemble the original a lot. A lot of things didn't go according to the original plot either, like anakin fighting mace windu. you could only pick from 2 heroes and there wasn't much customization either. Last but not least the lightsaber battles were very badly drawn. didn't look good and had nothing of the epic feel a lightsaber battle should have. very mediocre game. Expand
