  • Summary: Invitations to the King of Fighters Tournament have been sent to the best fighters in the world by an unknown host. Despite suspicions of an evil scheme, the fighters are ready to enter the arena to determine who the true King of Fighters will be.

  1. The best beat-’em-up you can get and it certainly puts "Tekken" in its place showing that 2D still rules the roost.
  2. Cheat Code Central
A game that can take its place alongside Capcom's "Street Fighter II."
  3. Truly marvelous. Game Boy Advance owners take note: this is a must-buy fighting game.
  4. Pocket Games
Exposes the likes of "Mortal Kombat Advance" for the shallow, poorly balanced rush-jobs they so obviously are. [Summer 2002, p.22]
  5. Nintendo Power
Just as fast, brutal, complex and fun as "Guilty Gear X." [June 2002, p.154]
  6. While the graphics and sound aren’t anything to write home about, the gameplay is solid.
  7. AceGamez
My advice is to stick to a console version unless you really want an SNK game for the road, as there are several better choices for a fighting title on GBA than this.

A beatiful game, although, lack of the combat announcer, and all the character voices. They should include the clasical KO of the announcer.
