  1. There's a brilliant simplicity wrapped around the addictive gameplay that makes Zooo a great puzzle game in most respects.
  2. It proves just as addictive as it is on DS, and should be checked out by anyone who's yet to invest in the dual-screen handheld. [NGC Pocket]
  3. There really isn't much meat to Zooo, other than the simple main game, but what's there is certainly fun for at least a while.
  4. Zooo isn't the deepest or flashiest puzzle game, but it gets the job done with a pleasing aesthetic style and solid, pick-up-and-play dynamics. Kids and adults will like this one for its simplistic appearance and deceptively challenging gameplay.
  5. The addictive level is high, keeping the game from an early death. But you WILL get tired of it. Eventually.

Simultaneously fun and forgettable, and to me that's the very definition of an average puzzle game. [Nov 2005, p.180]
  7. Zooo is not revolutionary in anyway; in fact, it looks a lot like other puzzle games I have played. However, the bright, fun packaging and portability of the game make it a should-buy for any fan of the puzzle genre and any parent taking their kids on a car trip.
  8. With so many puzzlers available online, why should I pay $20 for something I can get for free? To turn a profit in this day and age, a puzzle game needs to be divine-and Zooo, unfortunately, is just a diversion.
  9. Nintendo Power

The game may keep toddlers entertained, but so might an empty box (which is a heck of a lot cheaper). [Oct 2005, p.100]

Simply addictive. Simple gameplay makes you come for more again and again trying to beat the hi-score.
