  1. One problem with this game is the targeting system. The auto aim is far too generous, thus removing any kind of skill factor. You can switch it off but then it becomes absolutely impossible to hit anything.
  2. The sad fact though is that this game could have been so much better, as it is just discouraging to see so much potential in a game, and then to not have it pull through like you would have hoped it would.
  3. There are some fantastic moments and some really great ideas that action fans will love, however the flaws and the insistence on trial-and-error approach will infuriate everyone who plays it.
  4. The audio track, control setbacks, and average physical graphics combine to make this an average first-person shooter.

The dynamic cinema cam uses fast cuts for a movielike feel. [Jan 2003, p.173]

From the hostage-taking dynamics to the controls, the experience just feels unpolished.

Pretty lame in almost every way, shape, and form. [Jan 2003, p.100]
  8. The completely implausible story, the variety of situations McClane finds himself in and some genuinely funny dialog help elevate it out of the junk heap.
  9. By far the worst part of Vendetta is the controls. Bad graphics and sound can be forgiven if the game itself is worth playing. Unfortunately, it's hard to enjoy a game with controls as bad as this.
  10. 60
There are some great bits of level design to be found here, but it's a shame that the stealth elements are used almost entirely as linear puzzles.
  11. No multiplayer support, poor controls (although it is with a GC controller, which is a losing battle in and of itself), a storyline that puts you to sleep, and puzzles that will make you give your TV the finger.
  12. 50
For all its problems, Vendetta is a laugh and offers some fun moments, although has little or no value once placed against some of the better console FPSs.

The uneven difficulty ruins the game from time to time. You can't save during game, so If John is killed, you go back to the beginning of the stage, or to a checkpoint. You should have no problem dispatching the enemies in the game, the auto-aim is probably the most lenient one out there. The shootouts are too easy with the auto-aim, and to hard with the manual-aim, as the crosshair automatically goes back to the centre of the screen. Full Review »

I expected more because I got this game after sell my metroid prime. The graphics are not the best, the control is clunky. It has some humor, but this is not enough for a good experience. Buy it only if you are a fan of those movies. Full Review »

I love killing and it is sort or nice how generous the auto aim is if you just like quick hop in a room and kill fifteen man in 3 and when I love killing and it is sort or nice how generous the auto aim is if you just like quick hop in a room and kill fifteen man in 3 and when you get the last slow mo shot, you can still see the other 7 men dropping cuz it was down so quick and followed by silence makes you feel like you really kicked some ass, but other then that the game sucks, for many reason, can i say one thing DEAD END , they everywhere, you can only beat this game if your lucky to run into everything your sposed to do. Shit you have to cross and be precise but you cant with the dam controls. The auto jump was neat handy but i coulda easily done with out, overall killlings fun if you can get that far. dam hostages!
