  1. Magical Mirror is light and lively fare for those Gamecube owners tired of hacking and slashing through piles of demons but wanting to have a gaming good time while relaxing on their sofas in front of their TV sets.
  2. The slow pace and indirect control may not appeal to players looking for an action-oriented experience. [Aug 2002, p.142]

Geared towards a younger audience, Mickey is mind-numbingly simple, and it's a shame that such impressive visuals had to go to waste on such a disposable game.
  4. Those older than six will breeze through the game within a few hours, while younger players may have difficulty trying to figure out how to make Mickey do what they want him to do.
  5. 48
It's just plain boring and often tedious. Most kids will find the game as just that.
  6. The incredibly slow pacing and monotonous puzzles will override the Disney entertainment factor for the young as well.
  7. It's a strange hybrid of game and cartoon, but my main problem is that is not quite either. There are sections of activity, followed by long periods of inactivity. If I were five, I reckon it would frustrate me. I'd want to watch or play, not both.

Has my vote for THE WORST GAME EVER and I'm sure anyone else who plays it will agree with me. This even has "Universal Studios: Theme Park" beat, only because of how horrible the controls are, especially the 1992 "point and click" type of gaming.
  9. It is without doubt the worst thing on the cube. The Graphics, Gameplay, Sound and Lifespan are all extremely poor, and I still can’t believe two of the most respected company’s in the business have put their names on it. Laughable.

One of the very few games that children 5 and under can play. I like the Kids mode. I have never seen this in a game before. In an adults world its nice to know that there are some programmers can write games without blood spurting from a freshly decapitated body! Full Review »
