The simple fact is that this is one of the most frustrating games I've ever played. There's really no way I can possibly stress that enough. The longer you play, the less you can concentrate and the worse your surfer does.
I was blown away by how good this game was. It really does take surfing and make it into a fun gaming experience. The main factor is how each wave has its own identity in look, dimensions, and more, just like in real life.
The replays are totally interactive, the camera can be set just about anywhere, and the control is so easily grasped, you'll be busting out moves that would take you a lifetime to learn. [Oct 2002, p.85]
