  1. Bitchin' fun, dude! Takes you right back to the roaring road-rage days of the arcade.
  2. Whatever else is coming, you'd best believe I'll be there with bells on... and you should as well.
  3. The games are a blast worth remembering. Old racing is the new hotness. [Oct 2005, p.128]
  4. A nice entry to the series and brings a nice collection of arcade racers to the fray. However, it would've been cooler to see more in the package.
  5. Of all three Midway Arcade Treasures games, this is the one that probably has the most amount of games you won't want to play for any length of time.
  6. This is still the perfect idea for those who wished that they had these games in their homes, but didn't want to pay the ridiculous price for the cabinets.
  7. All the games suffer a similar problem when it comes to the basics of control. No steering wheel.
  8. Scoring this game is hard, because while the excellent ports are truly excellent, there are also some hideous clunkers in the mix.

But there's more good than bad with some fun arcade-to-home conversions intact for GameCube owners. This one's just the worst of the three.
  10. The graphics aren't at the quality of those for current GCN racers, but the play control and physics are expertly tuned. [Nov 2005, p.109]
  11. This compilation of arcade driving games proves that you can take the game out of the arcade--it's just not much fun.
  12. Only those trying to elicit an emotional attachment to these games are likely to get anything out of all them.
  13. The downfall to most of these games is lasting value. Some of them are great quickie alternatives to modern gaming, and if you want a challenge, this is the one to pick up.
  14. With MAT 3, the definition of treasure is stretched thin enough to cover the distance from, say, New York to Disappointmentvile. [Oct 2005, p.70]

The venerability of these selections combined with the substandard interface (exiting out of a given game is performed inconsistently and tends to be very confusing) and paltry selection of titles makes this one you can skip over without losing any sleep.

We can't stress how much fun we had with Super Off Road. It truly is one of the more timeless arcade racing games.
