  1. This may just be the best high energy sports game on the planet...Soccer Slam breaths new life into the system and gives us a taste of what real GameCube games can look like. [Apr 2002, p.50]
  2. While the single-player mode may get a little tiring, playing Exhibition mode against your friends is always going to be a blast.

A non-stop adrenaline rush, and as a multiplayer game, it is dangerously addictive.

One hell of a soccer arcade game...If you have two or three buddies who love to play videogames, you simply have to own this game.
  5. The game is simply fun to play, and if you give it a chance, you'll be doing so for quite a long time.
  6. 80
All these modes, combined with the incredibly entertaining gameplay and four-player support, add up to a sports game with plenty of play life.
  7. Outlandish costumes, ridiculous accents, and goofy expressions are wrapped around an intuitive control scheme that offers players the flexibility to perform a variety of moves, without making them complicated to perform.

I was looking for my soccer/football fix but without the simulation/realism. i found it. my only beef: pretty lame codes.
