Avengers Alliance is a worthy addition to Marvel’s already immense world, and getting the chance to lead your team into the breach is a pure joy. Whether you’re a vet of the Facebook game or an iOS addict with a superhero complex, Avengers Alliance delivers the goods, no matter whose turn it is.
I did enjoy my time with Avengers Alliance, but it required a bit more patience than most freemium titles I’m used to because of all the down time. However, it’s still an entertaining game about recruiting a bunch of superheroes and fighting lots of supervillains, and who doesn’t enjoy stuff like that?
They do keep up with the updates, but there is still a lot of room for improvement, as it came out on facebook before it hit ios or android mobiles we are yet to see many more hero's and modifications which we can find out by looking to its original creation. So I guess another rating should be made after another year when it has more options and will be about 70% maybe a good average game once its fully there.
Great to play if you don't have much time since its turn based and you don't have to be very focused but take your time have a drink, smoke, walk while enjoying the strategic **** to pvp Ai instead of real people is probably what makes this not the best game but then again, more cheaters would take advantage it was. I love it and it has potential to grow, so they update regularly and I have not seen any downtime of the servers, it keeps going...
It's down to the apologist, almost cult like followers. I'd say they've lost 3/4ths of their original daily peak **** slowly the numbers drop monthly. They have a super popular subject matter, but are the worst programmers imaginable, and are only still around because people love Marvel, not the game it inspired. They've toggled the drops down so far they virtually don't happen, and increased items for sale so much, that any new blood players would have to feel like their looking up at Everest armed with Dollar store pickaxe and ropes. You'd either have to drop $10,000 to compete, or be satisfied with years of being a bottom level player doomed to spend money or miss out on vital things like limited edition weapons and short time available heroes....I just can't see anybody enjoying that.
It seems fun at the beginning but it is little more than a shell game that tries to **** as much money out of you while providing diminishing returns. Two premium items cost nearly as much as a whole new game. Your time and money would be better spent o the new game. Playdom spends more time trying to find new ways to fleece you rather than fixing terrible pvp rankings and flawed characters and items.
Pros: You get to 'collect' Marvel heroes
Cons: Buggy. Like REALLY buggy. Like unplayably buggy. Incompetent developers that take weeks to months to fix a logon or crashing issue. Atrocious customer service. Expensive. Simplistic. Pretty much everything else about the game.
BOTTOM LINE: Programmed and run like a high school project. Dont waste your time.
marvel avengers alliance's goal is to trick and scam players out of cash. after that they treat players like garbage. they have very unethical business practices.

The game has so much potential only to be spoiled by the game dev Playdom with their buggy game and the worst customer support known to man. Expect to file support tickets regularly only to be greeted with a generic canned response that they are having "technical difficulties" and are unable to process or address your issue at the present time. At this juncture, I'm pretty pissed that I wasted 8 months of my time playing this game and actually spent a fair amount of real money on it. Oh well, do yourself a favor and play something other than this game!
As per usual the "professional" reviewers fail to realize just how abusive this games monetizing aspects are. The fact this game is so disgustingly bad and that it's sadly perfectly in line with other playdom games in terms of being a ripoff piece of crap... Means I'd personally suggest you take note of the high positive reviews at least, and permanently commit them to memory as the most unreliable bunch of hacks you'll ever come across. These people do not deserve to be doing the jobs they are. They are not looking out for those that they're supposedly representing, and are a disgrace.
As for the game, Pay to win is not the word here, it's a complete mess.
