Beat Hazard Ultra is a great game and is a steal for 99 cents. There are a few minor issues, but the many positive aspects of the game overshadow them. Music lovers and arcade junkies will all find something to love about it.

It's a heck of a game, gorgeous, challenging and long-lived in turn. I've hardly been able to put it down, and listening to music without the game just doesn't feel as cool right now.

Even with the small flaws, we cannot recommend Beat Hazard Ultra enough, unless you either hate shooters or have issues with bright flashing lights (or both). It is a unique experience with nearly limitless potential, and we just can't get enough.

Fans of twin stick shooters and music games should give Beat Hazard Ultra a try. The controls are sublime, and the visual/audio experience is one of a kind.

Shooter game with bright lights, where your music tracks generate your levels. Every music track you play is unique without being random, you can choose your difficulty and push your limits and there is a variety of modes depending on your mood. If it looks kinda interesting to you at first sight, play it, as it will pleasantly surprise you being loads more fun than you expected. What more can you ask than shooting lasers to the rhythm of your favorite music after all? Full Review »
