This is one of the finest puzzle game in App Store, able to combine the freedom of artistic creation with the inevitability of the trial and error's mechanics

Blek is stunningly elegant, both in the concept and in its presentation. A clever puzzle game despite its strong reliance on trial and error.

If you're looking for something a little quirky or you enjoy a good puzzle game, you should definitely give Blek a try.

This sandbox aspect will be a negative for players who prefer more guided gameplay, but a boon for those who appreciate nearly limitless replay value and opportunities for creativity. The few rules and features that do exist must be discovered on your own, and doing so can greatly change how you view past levels.

The genius of Blek's design is that it channels that weird sense of freedom you get from helping a doodle unfold - the freedom that comes of kicking yourself loose from life's formal structures, even if your only rebellion is seeing where a curving black line will take you.

Those who take the time to play it properly, plan out their strategy for each level and truly think about what they are doing will find it impossible not to like, while those who try random lines or try to find ways of completing a level that is not the intended way won’t have such a great time.

Playing Blek is pure intuition, not a puzzler so much as an act of freeform creation. That’s quite a feat within a genre which can feel so stiff and prescribed.
  8. Dec 5, 2013
A smooth and clever puzzler, Blek has its frustrating moments, but overall it's an impressive, creative package.
  9. Dec 3, 2013
Blek is a beautfiul minimalist puzzle game that has players drawing lines to follow a path that will hit all the dots in a level, requiring planning and spatial awareness to master.

Not every day you come across an iPhone game that isn't an assault to your senses. This game is artistic and therapeutic. Surprisingly a good game to play with a group of friends, while mirroring on the TV screen. Full Review »
