It's not often you see a serviceable third-person shooter for mobile, especially one suited for all ages. That said, DuckTales: Scrooge's Loot is worth diving into - even if you don't have your own custom money bin.

Ignore the fact that this is attached to a licence, and look past the few faults it currently has, and you'll find that DuckTales: Scrooge's Loot is an excellent team-based multiplayer shooter, with solid controls and great visuals.

Ultimately, I recommend Scrooge’s Loot to those with children due to it being free, imaginative and simplistic fun. But for those hoping for a clear-cut shooter, I suggest you look elsewhere.

Take one beloved Disney franchise, add some multiplayer shooting, and watch as it turns into a fairly unsurprising Capture the Flag type game.

As it stands, give this cute, and fairly harmless shooter a try if you're itching for some competitive combat on your mobile device.

DuckTales: Scrooge’s Loot is an example of what happens when a developer combines a beloved franchise with a genre that has no logical connection.

A surprisingly ambitious mobile title. Disney pulled out all the stops to make this multiplayer 3rd person shooter, but they did botch some gameplay elements along the way. It's controls work well, but as you would expect there are some limitations with aiming and shooting. Still, the core gameplay works and is a lot of fun. The real problem with the game is that there are some balancing issues. The characters with the better gear are almost guaranteed to win all of their matches, which means this does often feel unbalanced and like a pay-to-win experience.

However it is surprising to figure out that the game is still a lot of fun, and even though the other team may be filled with players who are better equipped, you still have a chance at winning. All in all I am incredibly impressed with what Disney has tried here, and despite it's balancing issues still found it to be a lot of fun. So if you're looking for some multiplayer shooter fun to go on your mobile device, then give this one a shot. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. My final score is a 7.8/10=Good.
