Polished, deep, and a complete joy. I could go on for hours about how much I've enjoyed Dungeon Raid, but your time is much better spent actually playing the game.

It boasts a tutorial that is incredibly approachable, making the game appropriate for even the most casual of puzzle gamers, while offering a top-end that's full of strategy, a bit of luck, and an entire trail of character development decisions.

The game is just a straight arcade experience, but it also has enough depth to warrant returning to numerous times.

The simple but solid and immediate gameplay structure creates an enchanting circle that involves gamers since the beginning of the game.

The game is never-ending really. You just keep going, trying to last as long as possible while taking on new monsters.

Dungeon Raid manages to capture the essence of both rogue like dungeon crawling, and addictive match 3 in a easily accessible formula.

While it's a fun mix of match-three puzzling and role-playing, Dungeon Raid fails to set the two elements in a solid structure and so never gains any long-term appeal.

  1. There is a surprising amount of depth to this game. It is easy to play, but you keep discovering new things about the strategies as you play. My whole family is hooked on this game! Actually, it might be a bit too addictive ;) Full Review »
  2. It's not often a game takes me by surprise. At the outset, Dungeon Raid seems to be a casual puzzle game. After countless hours of play, however, I can definitely tell you that it is rather a complex and endlessly variable experience that has deep strategic RPG elements come together in a surprisingly compelling manner. Pick it up! Full Review »
