Everybody likes a challenge, but the cards seem too stacked against the player.

Much of the endless runner's appeal comes from being so simple, but for those looking to try something more than just a reflex tester DynamoKid provides a deeper (if currently flawed) challenge.

It's a game with serious potential, but it's far too overwhelming in its current state. For one thing, the lack of a jump button is absurd.

I loved that collecting the gold and black stars scattered about the randomly generated levels changes the environment, but those environments felt a bit empty without any music, as the game has no soundtrack.

DynamoKid Touch has neither the instant appeal of Canabalt nor the breadth of play of a full platformer to make it fully satisfying.

Unless DynamoKid has some drastic updates down the line, there isn't any compelling reason to download it.
