Granny Smith is a winner. From the characters to the zany gameplay, there's a whole lot to love in this $0.99, universal app and I can't wait for additional levels to be added on.

So, while the game remains simple to play, it has that perfect 'difficult to master' factor that will provide plenty of replay value.

You will feel the urge to beat your rival quite often, so you end up replaying levels until you can obtain all of the apples and maybe beat your previous score. The routes are always a challenge, and I assure you that there will be multiple attempts involved. I love a good trial, and Granny Smith provides just that.

There is a certain bizarre charm to Granny Smith, and the short levels make it easy to come back to when you have a few seconds. The controls are spot-on and the somersault mechanic makes things a bit more challenging than just tapping a single button at just the right second.
  5. Sep 2, 2012
Granny Smith is a light distraction for platforming fans and those who enjoy 2D racers to blast through in an afternoon; guaranteed to leave with a smile.
  6. Sep 2, 2012
Granny Smith has great graphics and fun physics, but there should be a lot more life left in this game.
  7. Sep 3, 2012
It isn't ahead of its time, or working on the cutting edge of its genre, but for some gamers, it may just do you one better: illustrate the joys of something completely quaint.
