Cute but simplistic, Hopeless is an adorable survival horror game which is all but impossible not to love.
Easy to pick up and difficult to master, the deceptively twee Hopeless: The Dark Cave is a perfect game for short bursts of entertainment.
It’s very much a blink and you’ll die situation and what starts out at a leisurely pace rapidly escalates to a screen filled with fearsome foes. If you’ve got a spare few minutes, this is a great game to fill in time. It may be dark, but all is not quite hopeless. [Issue 1, February 2014]

Summary A bunch of glowing blobs huddle in the dark, scared and armed. Dark shadows creep in and they must react quickly - is it a friend or foe? Tap the screen to shoot the monsters. React quickly but be careful not to shoot your friends.
