Hunters 2 is everything its predecessor should have been. This is one of the best turn based strategy games available on iOS, and a safe purchase for your game collection.

It's a must-have for strategy fans, no question.

Hunters 2 doesn't revolutionize the gameplay that made the first episode so enjoyable, but enriches the experience by adding several new elements.

Wohoo, singleplayer campaign! Oops, its over already. Come on! [May 2012]

Even without multiplayer, though, Hunters 2 is still one of the best strategy titles on the App Store and improves on the original game without changing those parts that made the first game so good.

The series' daily challenges return, and the team's flair for simple, yet interesting, map design remains undiminished. Refinement's never quite as exciting as reinvention, of course, but with so little to fix, Rodeo's clearly spent its development time rather wisely.

Hunters 2 is an almost perfect sequel - it improves on what has gone before without drastically changing too many things. The presence of in-app purchasing is unfortunate, but not enough to sully the good work done elsewhere. Turn-based strategy fans should pick it up.

Bringing new weapons, a campaign mode, and the same solid gameplay mechanics, Hunters 2 expands upon the original in several ways that cement its place among the elite TBS options on iOS.

While the incremental upgrades probably won't win over gamers that weren't fans of the original, Hunters 2 still offers a compelling turn-based strategy experience.

Hunters 2 moves the series forward, stepping away from the sterile and automatically generated levels of the original and on to something more exciting; a great pick for turn-based fans after a game ready to punish players for poor decisions.

Hunters Episode Two isn't really the sequel I had anticipated, and I view it as an episodic updated that brings a storymode. I still think that the strategic game play is great, and it is suspenseful watching the enemy takes it's turn walking into my traps. Bigger, better and a whole lot of more violent.

Hunters is a good strategy game, but this jewel needs a good setting. Rodeo Games doesn't have to create something epic like X-COM or Jagged Alliance 2, but it would be nice to see a captivating campaign that takes more than 3 hours to finish it. With a multiplayer cherry on top.

Its only faults are the short main campaign and a couple parts of the GUI which could be streamlined (with more on-screen info like weapon ranges & such). The replayability comes with the daily missions which your party can take a go at only very powerful parties will be able to get the most out of the 'take no damage' and 'protect the reactors' missions.
