Ultimately though, King Oddball is sufficiently enjoyable that any other purpose isn't really needed. It's simplistic to a near fault (right down to the lack of any proper menus) but when it's this much fun, who cares?
If you like physics-based games, this is one for the books. It is strange and interesting. The puzzles are not too difficult, but have just enough challenge to make things interesting. Pick this game up for a tongue-lashing good time.
The game is pure destructive fun, but that purity comes at a cost. There is no score, leaderboard, or even a level star system, which may turn off some players who want a record of their gaming accomplishments.
