Taking this into account, Man in a Maze is superb regardless of which platform you play it on, and play it you most definitely should. Meanwhile, cross your fingers for even more levels, contestants, and prizes in the months ahead. Yup, it's a winner.

At its core, Man in a Maze is a family friendly puzzler that's well designed with smooth controls, humorous graphics and varied gameplay. Aside from adding iCade support, there wasn't anything that I didn't like about it. Whether players have a twisted sense of humor, love mazes or can't get enough game shows packed into their day, it's definitely a keeper and highly recommendable.

Controls aside, it's actually an enjoyable romp as you figure out the best way round each maze, trying to avoid the increasingly difficult and sadistic obstacles with only a bouncy ball (which can at least be upgraded) to aid you. It's about timing, and not a small bit of luck too.

Throwing Chuck into danger is a great pastime, even if we're the ones that suffer when he fails. As the game deepens in difficulty, there's a real satisfaction to be found in slipping around the opposition, taking them out when they're not looking.
