Thief Edition stays true to its roots with an insane amount of character customization and worthwhile role-playing elements. Unfortunately, the game is held back by a positively abysmal control scheme.

MapleStory Thief Edition is a great game for those who just can't get enough of their platforming, beat'em-up action, but try the free version before diving in to this paid one.

Although the endearing visuals do an excellent job of replicating the look of one of the world's most popular MMOs, the lack of human interaction, awkward controls and uninspiring quests render MapleStory Thief Edition underwhelming.

I hate sloppy. I hate mediocre. Therefore, I hate Maple Story: Thief Edition.
