Monster Meltdown is one of those quirky little games that due to its fluid control scheme and clever bite-size level design, it makes it very hard to put down. Whether that's good or not for gaming on the go, is up for debate.
Gamers help a janitor rescue monsters who have escaped in a Russian research lab by using his personal teleporter to make it through 80 mind-bending levels.
Fast-paced and full of Soviet-era chic, this novel puzzler is one Red Scare you don't want to miss.
Overall it’s a simple, fun and addictive package. No iAP, no complications, and impressive in the looks and sound department. Plays a good game too.
Monster Meltdown ($1.99, iPad) delivers a brand new puzzle style that is finely crafted making it a should buy for some exquisite teleportation fun.
Persevere, however, and you’ll find the kind of charmingly intelligent design that makes us hope Ambient can eventually realise some of its grander ambitions.
