Ravensword: Shadowlands is a must-have for fans of open-world RPGs who want this kind of major experience that they can take with them on their phone, and then sit back and enjoy while on the couch with their iPad.

You should expect much of the same as the previous iteration, only bigger and better as you delve back into this fantasy world.

Admirable attempt to bring Skyrim to your mobile devices. Just shy of excellence. [March 2013, p.92]

The open world aspect of Ravensword: Shadowlands is one of its big selling points, and it is fun to explore some non-linear adventures on your iOS device.

Ravensword: Shadowlands's enthralling fantasy world, solid RPG mechanics, and wide-eyed sense of adventure make it an epic proposition - despite a couple of obvious weaknesses.

Ravensword: Shadowlands is a huge, gorgeous game that's by no means perfect, but we're fine with that.

It sounds cliched, but it's hard to believe I'm playing a game of this caliber on iOS. All too often we see games that sacrifice gameplay depth for visuals or vice versa. Other than a few minor glitches, Ravensword: Shadowlands is the real deal, and is an excellent open-world RPG with a decent story, ample content, deep character customization and beautiful visuals.

Pretty for an iPad game. That's all the good there is in it. Short and boring. The people comparing this to Skyrim on iPad either haven'tPretty for an iPad game. That's all the good there is in it. Short and boring. The people comparing this to Skyrim on iPad either haven't played Skyrim or have been paid to say such nonsense. Unfortunately I bought into the hype and bought the game. Don't make the same mistake. Full Review »
