Though its core systems are pretty much identical, Sid Meier’s Ace Patrol: Pacific Skies’s shift to a more technologically advanced conflict and thoughtful enhancements make it every bit the worthy sequel.
  2. Nov 8, 2013
Sid Meier's Ace Patrol returns with Ace Patrol: Pacific Skies, bringing users a taste of World War II in over 180 missions full of brilliant strategy gameplay.

There are no in app purchase this time and it's still a great strategy game, but Ace Patrol: Pacific Skies does nothing to improve the look or the gameplay of the previous chapter.

I suspect most people will be more than satisfied with just one of the two games, but for the diehards and gamers who missed out on the first one, Pacific Skies is the one to get.
  5. Nov 14, 2013
Ace Patrol: Pacific Skies isn’t a drastic re-invention of the original, but adding more content and refined gameplay to an already impressive strategy game is hard to argue with.
  6. Nov 12, 2013
Sid Meier’s Ace Patrol: Pacific Skies delivers excellent strategy action that is well suited for iOS making it a should buy.
  7. Nov 12, 2013
The linear campaign structure is a bit limited compared to the first game's branching missions, but with both American and Japanese campaigns to play through and over 180 missions Sid Meier's Ace Patrol: Pacific Skies will keep strategy players coming back again and again.

If this turn-based strategy title can get its hooks in you, you’ll probably find yourself getting sucked deeper and deeper into its many intricacies. But, thanks to its unappealing aesthetics and focus on subtle game mechanics, getting in isn’t easy.
