  1. Jul 25, 2013
Puzzle/platformers take the cosmos by storm in this unique take on a tired genre.
  2. Aug 2, 2013
Sky Tourist requires an unexpected amount of patience, but brings an unexpected offering of creativity and visual charm in trade. If you’re looking for something that isn’t another endless runner, animal-flinger, or puzzle solver, and you’re ready to play nice with a demanding control scheme, this skycation is for you.
  3. Aug 2, 2013
Sky Tourist boasts clever controls and a beautiful world. Travelling through that world means dealing with occasional frustrations, but they're small bumps in an expansive road. Every good journey has its problems, after all—without them, how would we grow?
  4. Jul 29, 2013
Sky Tourist’s unique gameplay and controls put it a notch above other iOS platformers.
  5. Aug 6, 2013
Although it has a high degree of visual charm and the controls actually work, there's something about the design of the stages that feels off and underwhelming.
  6. Jul 30, 2013
With its refreshingly original core platform mechanic, not to mention the wonderful audio and artwork, Sky Tourist is a game that you'll desperately want to enjoy more than you actually will - a real pity. When it works, it's wonderful, but much like those terrifyingly tense buzzer games where you gently run a loop of metal over a drawn out wire, for too much of the time it's simply a test of endurance.
  7. Aug 1, 2013
With its best ideas exhausted long before the developer tires of them, some moments of real ingenuity are swamped by busywork. At times, you’ll admire the craftsmanship, but Sky Tourist is often too busy trying to be clever to remember to be fun.
